With this private walking tour you can discover most part of Budapest, you can learn about the history and I will tell you fascinating stories, legends, myths about the sights, places which can even take you back to the turn of the century.

We start the tour in the city center with taking one of the oldest underground to the Heroe’s Square and we walk back to downtown Pest on the famous Andrássy avenue.

After an easy welk on the Danube Promenade we visit the Saint Stephen’s Basilica and then we cross the river on the Chain bridge to explore Buda, the old part of the town.

We can take the funicular up to the hill, where we see first the royal or presidential part (where you can find the former Royal Palace-if you join my tour I’ll tell you why formal) then we walk along the residential area (Matthias Church, Fisherman’s Bastion).

If you have more time and you wish to explore the City Park and visit the Castle there and one of the largest thermal baths we can extend this tour with an extra hour.

It is also possible to walk an hour in Jewish quarter and explore some hidden parts of it, or have an additional hour walk on the Castle Hill, or both, 1 extra hour in the City Park and 1 more hour in the in Castle Hill.

We finish the tour in the Castle area on the Buda side where you can explore further if you want.
