Cultural and Culinary Tour

If you get tired of the ordinary tours come for an easy sightseeing with a lot of culinary experience. Experiencing the Hungarian food and wine and coffee culture is the best way to learn about our culture and traditions.

Did you know that the Great Market Hall of Budapest was built in the 19th-century and is one of Europe’s finest market halls? This is the place where you can get a taste of the local life, see how Hungarians do their daily shopping, a place where you will get an introduction to Hungarian food through the great variety and abundance of Hungarian ingredients and have the opportunity to try them and even pick up some souvenirs and not only edible ones!
We will discuss not only about the building but the culture of eating and I will tell you about all that pok fat, paprika and goose liver.

In the second half of the 19th century Budapest had more then 500 Coffee houses! It was like a city of coffee houses.

Visit and have coffee at Budapest most Famous Coffee Houses, and have a Hungarian lunch at a local bucher shop which also serves meals having the freshest ingredients in town!

If you are interested in these kind of sights come and explore them with me!

Although this tour is focusing on culinary you will also have the chance to explore the beautiful sights of Budapest.

We will start our tour with a little walk in downtown and then visit the Great Market hall, where we can get lost a bit, and have lunch and then continue with the sightseeing.
We can include all the must to see sights, like the famous Andrássy avenue, Heroe’s square, City park, downtown Pest, the Graet Synagogue, Saint Stephen Basilica, Parliament.
If you want to a bit more of the city we can include the Buda side as well go across the Chain bridge, explore the Castle District, the former Royal Palace, the neo gothic Máthyás Church and also the Fisherman’s Bastion, drive up to the Gellért hill is a must for the breath taking view of your life.
These are my suggestions but if you have any other wishes just let me know!
This tour can be a 4 hour tour and only focusing on the culinary experiences or longer (8 hour) and it is possible to combine a culinary tour with a city tour and can enjoy a bit of a sightseeing as well.
