Gödöllő is a small town situated the Notheast of Budapest but it has the largest baroque palace in Hungary.
Even though it dates back to the 18th century, it is famous for being a favourite place of Queen Elisabeth of Hungary a century later. It was the place of the former summer residence of Queen Elisabeth (Sissi) and Francis Joseph (Habsburg Emperor & Hungarian king 1867-1916). With this tour you can visit the beautifully renovated Royal Palace and get to know about the times under the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
